This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated travel specialist to join and support VSO’s busy Travel Unit.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and booking of volunteer and employee travel, visa assistance, travel training for employees and providing excellent costumer service and support.
The successful applicant will have experience of using a GDS (preferably Amadeus but not limited to this) and will be highly literate in MS Office applications with demonstrable ability to learn new systems, procedures and applications quickly.
Experience of travel within a charity/non-governmental organization environment and business travel is preferable but not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail is a must, as is a commitment to cost effective and best value purchases, itineraries and products.
