VSO are currently recruiting new pre-departure trainers on a contract basis to deliver VSO Health and Security courses to new volunteers approximately 4-6 afternoons per year. 

Successful applicants must have:

- Experience of communicating health information to non medical people
- Experience of training in small and large groups
- Knowledge of travel health and relevant work experience

Experience of living and working in a developing country would be an advantage. 

Remuneration is £150 per afternoon session plus expenses. There is a set curriculum and training is provided. 

Training sessions will be scheduled on a Friday or a Saturday and the training venue will be located in either Northampton or London.
